Kroger Gift Card Balance Online!  How Reload your Kroger Gift Card 1. PURCHASE. Purchase a Kroger Gift Card from St. Anthony’s after mass, from Debbie at the school or Kathy at the rectory. 2. RELOAD. Take your Kroger Gift Card to Kroger’s customer service clerk or a cashier with cash or a check (made payable to Kroger) for the dollar amount you want to add to your card. They will give you the card back with a receipt with the new balance on it. If you had a balance left on your card of $11.23 and you add $100.00, it will show the new balance of $111.23 on your receipt. (If customer service is busy, go to the self service cashier or a cashier with no one in line.) You can reload the gift card for any amount up to $500.00. 3. GO SHOPPING. It takes about 5 minutes for your new balance to show up on your card. 4. CHECK OUT. To pay for your groceries just swipe your card and for gas you can just pay at the pump. Your receipt will show your new balance on your gift card. You can always check the balance on your card by call the phone number or going to the website on the back of the card. Kroger would rather have you reload your gift card than purchase new ones each time. They say that if we continue to just purchase the gift card instead of reloading the cards they will lower our percentage we get back. If you are uncomfortable reloading the cards, please continue to purchase them. We would rather get a smaller percent than no percent. ADVANTAGES OF RELOADING - PROFIT - PROFIT - PROFIT X You always have your Kroger Gift Card with you and you can always reload it. X St. Anthony’s doesn’t have to miss out on one penny of the money you spend at Kroger. 7 If the person selling Gift Cards doesn’t show up at the back of church – no problem. 7 If you forgot to take your checkbook to church – no problem. 7 If you get paid on Monday and want to shop on Monday – no problem. 7 If you have a relative, friend or co-worker that wants to help support St. Anthony School but doesn’t go to our church – no problem. X The only thing this fundraiser cost you is a little bit of your time. X No Selling, Buying or Donating. Every dollar you buy, you Just reload your card at Kroger. DISADVANTAGES OF RELOADING - Inconvenient and Time Consuming. X You have to remember to reload your card before you start to shop. X It may take a whole 5 minutes to go to customer service to reload your gift card. X If you lose your card it is like losing cash, it is gone. X You can only reload it in the store. It can’t be reloaded at the gas station. Do the Math If 10 Families spent $100 a week for 1 year ( 10 x 100 x 52 = 52,000 x 5% = $2,600 profit) If 100 Families spent $100 a week for 1 year (100 x 100 x 52 = 520,000 x 5% = $26,000 profit) If 200 Families spent $100 a week for 1 year (200 x 100 x 52 = 1,040,000 x 5% = $52,000 profit) |
